As you know, Las Vegas always takes special events to new heights.
What’s the most important part of a Las Vegas Big Game party to you?
If this is your first time in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl – there’s so many options, from exclusive packages and VIP lounge seating to free admission venues. Are you looking for big screens? Do you want to be in a traditional sports bar or an event ballroom? Are you looking for an open premium bar package? Or, are you only looking for drink specials? You’re probably going to be hungry, so are you looking for an all-you-can-eat type scenario? Or, are you looking for available food but you’ll be happy to pay as you eat. Are you looking for a specially reserved table? Or, are you happy to be inside a venue or event space, but willing to roll the dice on getting a seat somewhere. Are you looking to be at a venue on the Vegas Strip? Or downtown on Fremont Street? Or, a locals establishment? Lastly, do you want to be inside or outside? You might think this is a crazy question in February, but Las Vegas does host outdoor viewing parties at their pools because they are lined with large screens.
As you can imagine, an all-inclusive event ticket can be quite pricey, but then again you’re in Las Vegas. Maybe even your sports bets (if this is your thing) will win and your party entry becomes free. Either way, it’s time to start thinking earlier than later about what you’re specifically looking for in a Super Bowl experience and start to research it out or book your reservation.
The more amenities – the more the Super Bowl party will cost you.
It’s a fact – you’ll pay for wanting more. At the Sahara Casino, Chickie’s & Pete’s is hosting a Super Bowl party with a VIP game day experience. The event starts at 2 pm (about an hour before the game start time) and tickets start at $288. The experience includes guaranteed reserved seating with big-screen viewing (they have over 50), delicious food and beverage credits towards their game day menu, drinks and bottle service. For the guaranteed seating, there’s a variety of seating types such as picnic tables, comfy lounge seating and roomy booths. If you’re a bettor, the William Hill Sports Book can be accessed inside Chickie’s & Pete’s.
The Sahara also has another viewing party called The Ultimate Big Game Tailgate Experience at the Azilo pool outdoors. Here, they have a state of the art 240′ screen – it’s like having a front-row seat. The beverage package includes an open bar from 12 PM to game halftime is $135. The food and beverage package includes everything in the beverage package PLUS game-day fare at three food stations. The food station choices? Hot dog and chili dog station, burgers, and nachos. Looking for the ultimate comfort experience? Then, look to their Reserved Space package from $500 food and beverage minimum. Daybeds can be reserved for up to 4 people. Cabanas can be reserved for up to 10 people. A bungalow can fit up to 15 people. Or, the Party Pit fits up to 25 people. NOTE: The reserved spaces do not include beverages or food. There is a food and beverage minimum spend. If you have a large group, you might want to look into reserved seating.
As you can see with the Sahara’s two Big Game viewing parties available, there’s different amenities and different packages and prices depending on what’s most important to you on game day.
Does free sound more appetizing?
The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is offering a free Big Game watch party. If you don’t want to feel the pressure of food or beverage minimums, then free might be for you. Here, you can completely enjoy the Super Bowl at your own pace. This venue has stadium style seating with a 72′ LED screen. There are food and drink specials and reserved seating available.
